EMP commenced its operation in 1990 with the founders of the company, Charles Matheou and Uwe Dressel. The company has since grown considerably, resulting in a move to bigger premises to accomodate its expansion process.

EMP invests heavily in new technology equipment and develops new processes to speed up manufacturing and reduce costs.

EMP success is based on it's ability:

- to meet quality control standard.

Electric Motor Power Pty Ltd has manufacturing facilities in Australia and China.  Its Australian facility is used for local low volume customers, whereas the China facility is used for manufacturing mid to high volume products for customers around the world.
