The Series 5 motors can be designed to operate in a voltage range from 12v to 240v DC.

They can cover a maximum speed of 2000rpm on 12v and 4000rpm on other voltages, with a peak power of 2kW.  The lowest speed of the Series 5 motor can be 600rpm with peak power of 400w.

All Series 5 motors, up to 375w, are rated "Continuous Duty" and are TENV.
375w - 540w are rated "Intermittent Duty" and is recommended that they operate only for a short period of time to avoid overheating.
If "Continuous Duty" is required, a cooling fan can be added to the motor.  These motors are Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) - same as TENV except has external fan as an integral part of the motor, to provide cooling by blowing air around the outside frame of the motor.
